Meet Our Illustrator, Danielle Ryce
Q: How would you describe yourself as a sketch artist?
A: In the past, my sketches have been digital recreations of photos. Sketching was my supplementary art; the creativity to purge the stress from my original art-form of choice, music. It was all very meditative.

Q: Did Muzi inspire anything new in your sketching?
A: I loved venturing into the abstract arena. It was also more collaborative than any sketching I've done! We worked together to reach the right balance of free
yet tangible shapes.

Q: How would you describe the Muzi aesthetic?
A: Elevated but welcoming. Somewhere between a high-brow art gallery and an eclectic living room with walls covered in random art pieces.

Q: What was your favorite part of working on Muzi?
A: I loved reflecting on my own creative journey. It's such an uphill battle sometimes! It was meaningful to work on something that would help others with their creativity too. I adore the Muzi project, and can't wait to see what creativity Muzi unlocks in the world!

Q: What do you hope Muzi users get from the sketches you have done?
A: That feeling of whimsy, and clear-headed inspiration. That sort of lift you get after a great film or amazing concert, where you feel lighter and ready to tackle anything. Even if it's just a teeny tiny iota of that feeling!

Q: How is your Muzi spark? What aspects of your creativity are you working on these days?
A: Rest 🥲 Burning the candle at both ends these days! Next up, connection. I just moved to Portland, and need to dig into the community here and find some fellow musicians!
